Out in Death Valley California the rocks move. Their movements have been unobserved and have remained a mystery. That is until I did a Google search.At Racetrack Playa, the earth is etched with the tracks of moving rocks. Some theories postulate magnetic influences, tremors, Ludo from the Labyrinth, and general magic.
It turns out its just the wind moving what water does pool in this barren basin. The water in turn pushes the rocks. At night it gets cold enough that the water freezes and the wind is strong enough to move the ice a bit too. The reason no one has observed this more frequently: its cold and gusty and no one wants to be outside in the middle of nowhere during bad weather.
