They were Chanterelles!

Still alive. The mycology group on Facebook assisted with identification. The primary identifiers for a Chanterelle are the bright orange (like an egg yolk) and the false gills. The frilled edges are distinctive as well.

Mushrooms are awesome. Now that I can identify the two, I have discovered that I have a colony of small chanterelles in my yard. So, I need to learn how to cultivate.
